As normal Swindon got off to the worst possible start when a early mistake from Griemink allowed Lawrence to score for Mansfield with his half shot going in off the post.

This the started the normal "King Out" chants mainly from the Town End fans.

Sam Parkin took the ball around the Mansfield keeper on 21 minutes to level the scores.

Swindon came close a number of other times, including have 4 corners all in a row, but couldn't get the ball on target.

Eric Sabin put Swindon into the lead a minute into the second half when he also went around the keeper and just managed to get the ball into the empty net.

Overall the 2-1 score was a fair result with both sides having few chances all game. The win moves Swindon up a place to 21st on 14 points.
