Peter Brezovan returned to the County Ground, this time in goal for his new club Brighton.
On 30 minutes Swindon were awarded a penalty after a foul on Paynter. His took the penalty himself and scored sending Brezovan the wrong way.
On 40 minutes Forster made it 1-1 with a close range header.
On 54 minutes Charlie Austin scored again for Swindon with a header making 2-1 as it started to snow lightly over the ground.
Brezovan was forced to make a number of good saves to prevent Swindon from getting any more goals. Overall a good game which Swindon did well to win, although their were hanging on at times. The win moves Swindon back into a place off spot in 6th place going into the Boxing Day game at Charlton.
