There was no hiding Billy Dearden's disappointment after the Notts manager had once again seen his side give a below par performance and have to be satisfied with a point.

Swindon were fully deserving of the lead they forced with just over half an hour played,as Sam Parkin swivelled and directed a controlled shot low into the net.

Swindon's best chances of increasing their advantage came as they continued todominate in the first 15 minutes if the second half.

All three opportunities fell to French striker Eric Sabin and he missed the target on allthree occasions.

Dearden's decision to bring Marcel Cass off the sub's bench on 60 minutes proved aturning point as Notts at last began to use the flanks and force errors from the previouslycomposed Swindon defenders.

Paul Bolland showed lightning instincts to pounce on the ball and drive it home for theequaliser with 15 minutes to go.

This set up a County barrage in which they had chances to win all three points. A great drive by Mark Stallard was touched on to his post by keeper Bart Griemink before the realdrama came in stoppage time.

Young Irish striker Paul Heffernan had a gilt-edged chance, but his header, straight at the goalkeeper, was gratefully grabbed by Griemink.

Swindon had ended their losing away streak with a deserved point and Notts were left still having won only once this season in front of their fans
