Swindon made two changes to the side which beat Tranmere last weekend. Phil Smith started in goal, and Kennedy also started replacing Jean-Francois.

After an uneventful start to the game Swindon took the lead on 36 minutes with a header. At first it was unclear if the goal had been given as the linesman's flag was raised, but after a few seconds the goal was given.

Woking's chances were generally restricted to long distance chances, but Swindon rarely looked like their would extend their lead.

In the final ten minutes Woking had plenty of the ball, and Swindon were hanging on as Woking looked as if they could get an equaliser. Woking didn't look like a side 3 divisions below Swindon.

Overall an average game, but Swindon avoided going out to a non league side.
