Summerbee rejoined Swindon for the second time after 11 years away, and played in the 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest, but has already been released.
He wasn't offered a full time contract because with Mancesher United's Colin Heath at the club Andy King decided that they would both be after the same place, and with Manchester United paying Heath's wages it was chosen instead of Summerbee.
