Roberts has been away from Swindon for the past month as he has been treated for alcohol problems at the Sporting Chance clinic.
Roberts came on as a second half sub against Bradford and came close to scoring.
Roberts said: "I would like to thank all those people that have supported me and I now feel in the right frame of mind to continue with my life. I feel a different person now in every aspect of my life."
