Evans who's from Swindon was released from Chelsea and the end of last season. He approached Swindon, and Andy King a couple of months ago said he wasn't interested, and a player couldn't just expect to walk into Swindon's team.
It now looks like some sort of deal could still be on, and Evans might play in tonight's pre season friendly with Wolves with kick's off at the County Ground at 7.30pm not 7.45pm.
